About Us

Hi, I'm Jennifer Watson, the creator of Petal Parties and Petite Petal Parties.  Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a little more about Petal Parties and about me.

I first discovered my passion for floral design more than 10 years ago when I took a class in hopes of doing the flowers for my own wedding.  I did not end up making the flower arrangements for my wedding but I fell in love with the art of floral arranging and have continued taking classes throughout the years.  In June 2009 I continued my education at the South Florida Center for Floral Studies in West Palm Beach, FL.  I excelled in both the Basic and Advanced Floral Design classes and received my certification from world renowned John Klingel, AAF, AIFD, CFD, PFC.   

While working full time as an event planner/catering manager, I started Jennifer Watson Floral Design.  I provided table centerpieces and event decor for weddings, sweet sixteens, bar and bat mitzvahs and other special occasions.  

The idea for Petal Parties came to me in 2006 and in October 2007 I had the first Petal Party.  It was perfect!  The location was elegant and sophisticated.  While making our arrangements we drank champagne and ate chocolate.  And best of all, everyone was so proud of the masterpiece that they had created at my party.  Petal Parties was officially a success!

In 2009 I left my job to focus on Petal Parties and to be a stay at home mom to my daughter, Grace, now 2 1/2.  What an exciting time this is for my family and me.
